6- This Month's Google Power Tips & Tricks

One of our newsletter's most read tips & tricks is always about what Google can do to make your life easier.
Indexing every book on the planet is a good start...

http://books.google.com/ - You've probably seen the headlines... Google's ambition to index all of the out-of-print books, books whose copyrights have expired, index the contents of some of our nations largest university libraries - and it's all at your fingertips for free.  They are extremely protective of author's and copyright issues and can bring visibility/availability to books like never before.

Visit the site - type in something of interest like "Drucker" and you will see a variety of his works, can browse the front/back cover, the index and table of contents.  With your free google acount you can drill down into the inside of each book and view the text or scanned images.

Better yet, pick up a business book you use/read off your own bookshelf.  Pick a page and type in a section of text. More often than not, it's been indexed/scanned! What a great tool to be able to reference and search your own library and printed resources!

Enjoy this is a very powerful research tool for you, your staff, your children - It truly opens up the world of print to everyone.

Thank you for allowing us to share this news with you.  We appreciate your relationship and interest.  Have a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday!

Sincerely,

Paul W. Helmick
