So what could be interesting about yet another web-based mapping tool?
Well Google Maps have really changed two
things that you should definitely take a couple minutes to see first hand.
-
First - visit
Google Maps -
http://maps.google.com
enter an address and see it pop you right to the location on the map - not
so exciting yet... but wait... Click and Drag
around on the screen and you can move around easier than ever before
to move the map in any direction - much more user friendly than
MapQuest, etc.

-
Lastly - if you are
involved in real estate, or in researching where things are and don't
care to travel so much :-) Google just acquired Keyhole (
www.keyhole.com )
and enabling users to view 3D
images of any place on earth as well as
tap a rich database of roads, businesses and many other points of
interest. This company literally was put on the map by providing the
Tsunami satellite photo's that were of such incredible quality.
