The Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research and Innovation Center (MATRIC) is a world-class non-profit research and development corporation headquartered in Charleston, WV. 
Paul Helmick serves as the Executive Director of Commercialization for MATRIC.
 

The purpose of MATRIC is to become a nationally and internationally respected center of excellence for research and innovation in the disciplines of chemistry and chemical products,
biotechnology and biosciences, and software systems, especially in the areas of confluence
between two or more of these disciplines.
